Some might say it’s controversial to shoot a summer campaign inside of four walls, but that’s CRAFTD for you—we’re all about throwing around fresh ideas. And when we say fresh, we mean just that. For this shoot, we built a bedroom set from scratch. Why? Because after a year of unpredictable weather, we wanted to capture the anticipation and energy of summer—and that one piece of jewellery every guy can't wait to grab from his wardrobe: pearls.
We did think about a more simple modern day setting. But where's the fun in that? So the entire shoot became a nod to the '90s, with throwback elements like walkmans, Playboy, lava lamps, and plenty of graphic posters—all with that signature CRAFTD twist (keep your eyes peeled for these). The level of detail that went into this shoot and this pearls drop was on another level.
